PURE REGGAE
"Kingston - Brixton"
Every Thursday
9pm -2am
FREE
Since it’s low key launch @ The Brixton Telegraph in March 2004, “Pure Reggae” has received growing support from London’s Reggae Movement and attracted a host of visitors from Japan, Portugal, France, Germany and Holland.
In March 2006 Hunk Papa Tribe enter into a 3rd year of “Pure Reggae”, their weekly Thursday night residency.
Their “No Charge - Door Policy“ sets the tone for a club night intent on promoting a “Positive Vibrations“ philosophy, while Hunk Papa Tribe pay respect to the architects, pioneers and New Ambassadors of Reggae music.
The Brixton Telegraph who’s musical heritage dates back to the likes of Lynton Kwesi Johnson, The Clash and more recently Basement Jaxx, provides the perfect Brixton backdrop for this alternative Thursday night chill out session.
